Still practicing

Didin't do much but paint lately.

Those are the Tau kill team I made for Marc-André to play Frank's campaign. (Minus pictures of the crisis suit)

The models were some of the first I ever had, being a payment for an illustration I did in the past ( [link] )

When they got here most were broken and they were assembled like shit (thick black car primer over badly built miniatures with the mold lines still there).

I did a quick fixing job on the firewarriors, but it was too little too late. Was HELL to paint. Still satisfied with the result though.

Didin't do the same mistake with the kroots. Took time to fix them good and repair a few. They weren't as crappy built either which help. even had some small conversion work done. Pretty happy with the end result

Overall, I did alot of progress and learnt a lot of tricks with them. I'm particularly proud of the bases and what the weathered metal looks like IRL (hard to show in the pictures, it was painted to look realistic at a particuliar angle, the same on all 10 kroots, which is the angle the opponment will be at)

(and yes, it's pretty much a Buzz Lightyear colors scheme. Looks pretty swell)
